About the college

Clovis Adult Education has been a part of higher education and success since 1968. The school admits adults as young as 18 and can also enroll non-immigrant alien students. Their education is meant to inspire students of all ages and backgrounds to obtain the skills necessary to become a functioning and productive member of the community. The faculty at Clovis is accredited by the state of California or has top experience in their chosen field.

Campus

The main campus is located in Clovis, California. The school also offers a Community Technology Center and courses that are taught throughout the community at various high schools and intermediate schools. The Community Technology Center provides students with up to date computer skills or classes to help you improve your English. The center also provides job opportunities and job skills. Clovis has a variety of student services that include academic counseling, bookstore, career counseling, and financial aid to those who qualify.

Courses

Clovis has a list of academic programs for each and every student. There is something for everyone. They offer high school diploma, GED or Adult Basic Education courses. English as a Second Language is another course offered. Health career courses and career technical education gives students the skills needed to secure a job in the competitive job market. Clovis has an older adult education program for adults 50 years of age and older. The classes are in a relaxed environment with the focus on arts, communications, technology and health and fitness.

There is a community education program that is non-credit, but good for a new hobby or updating skills. Classes include areas of interest like cooking, computers, and many others. Clovis is a leader in education for the community and the individual. Learning should never stop and Clovis is proof of that.
