About the college
Pastor Jack W. Hayford founded the King’s College as ‘an outgrowth of the ministry’. The main majors are biblical studies, Christian ministry, and theological studies among other degrees. The King’s have a standard ten week quarterly calendar with an extra week for the finals. They also have a flexible schedule for those students who work so they can continue their education. Many classes only meet once a week and some of the regular classes are available at night. This makes it easy to adjust your schedule around family and work.
About the campus
King’s have a huge library that was opened in 1987 with the addition of 8000 volume Biblical collection from reverend Dick Mills. Many of the remaining collection came from over in Europe. After acquiring several more their collection is now over 170,000 and they are now on the internet. Students have a 32 station computer lab, eleven computers, and access to King’s Library OPAC, Proquest, First Search, religious & Theological Abstracts, BibleWorks 5, Gramcord, and religious & Theological Abstracts; and a microform reader.
There is no on campus housing or meals but they have a housing board that lists ads for apartments and housing. There are even some discounts for the students.
