About the College
University of California Merced is located in Merced California and first opened up the campus in September of 2005. This University is the first American research University. They have a goal of teaching, doing research and serving. The campus consists of 2,600 students and since the doors have opened students at the University have opened up over 100 clubs and organizations, held their first associated students election and also wrote their own constitution. The school also has around 100 students that work on research every day. The University is dedicated to their students and the education they are earning so they take every step to make sure students are getting the right education in the career of their choice.
