About the college
The land that the University of Redlands was built on was donated by a banker named Karl G. Wells. When it opened its doors in 1909, they had 59 students. Since its independence, it has a relationship with the American Baptist Church. The university has grown, involving other institutes and expanding it programs such as liberal arts.
About the campus
The beautiful campus is located in The City of Redlands in Southern California and it hosts the college of arts and sciences. The school of business also has its programs on this campus. The university also has the Ultimate Frisbee club as well as fraternities. The students also do a lot of community service with the community every year at neighborhood schools and local outreach centers. University of Redlands has 12 residences that house 60-190 students each year. The halls feature lounge areas with televisions and kitchen units and they can do their laundry here as well. The halls have easy access to the classrooms and a tree lined walkway.
About the courses
One of the programs that strive to help the students connect with nature is the Outdoor program. They teach skills of wilderness and offer a variety of on campus workshops, guest speakers and other programs. Some of the programs offered is Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Business, Computers, Education, English Language, health, History, Mathematics are just a few of the many offered here at University of Redlands. Tuition at University of Redlands is $25,524 and for graduate it is $9938 with books and supplies costing $1000. Financial aid is available for those students who qualify. They ask you to come a few months in advance, so they can get you in housing and your paperwork done. That way by the time classes start everything will be done and ready for you.
