About the college

Bethel is a college with a rich history. Its journey began in 1871 when it was established as a seminary for Swedish Baptists. The college was later combined with a secondary academy in 1914 and became a junior college. The growth of Bethel did not stop there. 33 years later a 4-year liberal arts school was added and Bethel College and Seminary was born. The school was redesigned in 2004 because the university contains many programs for students to excel.

The campus of Bethel Seminary is located at 6116 Arosa Street
San Diego, California. The school is close to downtown San Diego and the Pacific Ocean. The education at Bethel is theological and it helps the students understand the truth of the gospel and its effect on everyday life and career. The campus boasts some of the best in their professional field. The school’s faculty is well accredited with some of them noted authors and scholars. Courses

All of the courses at the Bethel Seminary are faith based. There are several masters’ programs to choose from. Those include Master of Arts in applied ministry, children’s and family’s ministry, theological studies in art, Christian education and marital and family therapy. Other programs available include Master of Divinity, which are professional leadership within a ministry and Doctor of Ministry and Organic Leadership Development.
