About the college

When you think about culinary colleges, Le Cordon Bleu Schools are at the top of the list. The California Culinary Academy is one of the schools and it has quite a reputation as a top culinary college. For over 30 years this school, the students at this school have been slicing and dicing their way to the top. The school offers culinary arts, pastry chef and personal training to help some of the best students of food graduate into a competitive food fight of sorts.

Campus

350 Rhode Island Street is home to the California Culinary Academy. Having its home in San Francisco is a phenomenal treat because the city has a culture of food, restaurants and hotels. The campus is close to fine wine, cheeses, a killer night life scene, live music and the Golden Gate Bridge. There are mountain views, ocean views and the best teachers and facility for a cook to become a chef. The education is hands on creating the best outlet for one studying food.

Courses

The California Culinary Academy offers its students culinary arts programs, pastry chef programs, an online course and even a restaurant ran by students. The learning element is off the charts here. Along with fine food and sweet pastries, students can learn the basics of hospitality and restaurant management. The online program is a bachelor of arts program in culinary management. The restaurant ran by students is called CarĂªme 350, which is on campus and open to the public. All food is prepared and served by students with them running the front and back of the house operations.

California Culinary Academy wants you to combine your love for food with their culinary education. Together you can rule the food world with pastries or top notch cuisine.
