About the College
Heald College was started in 1863 making this college approaching their 150th anniversary. Edward Payson Heald opened the first Heald College in San Francisco and now the college has 11 other campuses in the western part of the United States. The college does not only have campuses in California but they have campuses in Hawaii and Oregon as well. Heald College has a goal of giving their students the best academic learning experience that they can give. Even after 145 years the college is going strong with no sign of slowing down. The college offers their students help at the start and help at the end to keep them going even after college.
Campus
Heald College in Concord does not offer on campus housing but they are apartments and houses located near the school for you to rent while attending the college. The college offers a wonderful campus for their students to enjoy. The campus is 66,000 square feet facility with free parking and also accessible for public transportation. The campus has classrooms that are made for students to be comfortable, a conference center that is wireless, learning resource center with a library and computer labs to help students study, a student lounge with food service, on site bookstore, a dental lab, a dark room for x-ray development and sterilization and materials lab. You are sure to have everything at your hands for on hands learning.

Business has programs like Software Technologies, Office Skills, Business Administration, Construction Management, and Accounting. Heald College offers programs in Legal like Paralegal and Criminal Justice. You can get a career in the Healthcare field working as a Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, Medical Office Administration, Medical Assisting and Medical Insurance Billing and Coding.
