One of 11 locations of Heald College, Stockton was started in 1906. Leading courses here are Healthcare, Business, legal and technology. Just like the rest of the locations Heald Stockton has 145 years of experience behind it to ensure the quality of its schools comes through its student’s education. For the past 145 years Heald has graduates of exceptional quality and have been chosen for some very prestigious corporations to work for them.
About the Campus
Heald College Stockton has a campus with a facility that is 34,000 sq ft and is located right in Stockton. The Highway 95 and Interstate 5 is the easiest way to get into the college. Public transportation comes right to it. There are teardown labs and teardown station for repairs and to troubleshoot any problems. They also have computer labs with free internet and email for every student. There is a 1500 sq ft dental lab with digital radiography equipment; they also have a dark room for developing x-rays, and a lab for sterilizing and materials. They also provide a bookstore on campus for you. They do not provide housing or meals at the college so you will have to find housing off campus. The student services will be able to direct you to the right places.
About the Courses
Other courses available are dental assisting, medical billing and coding, medical assistant, office administration, pharmacy technology, accounting, business administration, construction management, office skills, criminal justice, paralegal and Cisco Systems, network systems. Students range from 18-65 years old. Job placement if offered even after you graduate if you want to wait a few months to look for a job. No matter how long it takes they will help you find a job, they do not guarantee you a job, they just show you where to go and who is hiring. Many employers call them and let them know they have opening so their students get first pick at the job. If they call in the middle of the year and need someone right away they will look over the Will Call list of graduates.
