For almost 50 years, Imperial Valley College has been providing quality education. The college provides students of all types of backgrounds education that can assist them in their careers and futures. Student learning at the college gives students the skills in communication, critical thinking, personal responsibility, information literacy and global awareness. The community and the school are close knit and this provides students the best education possible with a caring and well-educated faculty.

Campus

Imperial, California is where the main campus of Imperial Valley College is located. The school also offers an extended campus with locations in the cities of Calexico and El Centro. At each location, there is a faculty that is bilingual and bicultural that can help you with financial aid and academic counseling. Imperial Valley College has community education centers with special interest courses and extended centers that offer credit courses and free courses that do not count towards a credit. The school also offers a reading/writing lab and a language lab on campus for all students to use.

Courses

The courses offered at Imperial Valley College include community service courses in the areas of languages, arts, health, photography, cosmetology, traffic school and driving, cooking, computer, home improvement and music. Free courses help adults in the community with skills to increase literacy, learn English or gain citizenship. The school also offers online courses that include notary, traffic school, grant writing, web design, health care and a few more.

Imperial Valley College is a school designed for the first time student right out of high school or a member of the community that wants to further their education and job skills. There is no age limit on learning and with Imperial, they are driven to make you a successful member of society.
