About the college

Maric College made a name change to the household name Kaplan College and even with the change the school still remains a leader in quality career education. The college offers training to those who already are working in their chosen career and need a boost in skills or those who are searching for that perfect career. Education at Kaplan is hands on with an atmosphere meant to mimic what graduates will face in the real world.

Campus

The Stockton, California campus is 21, 035 square foot building with state of the art equipment and classrooms filled with incredible teachers with impeccable life and educational experience. The campus has amazing lab spaces devoted to computers, keyboarding, dictation, medical and dental. The labs are designed with hands on education purposes and the equipment speaks loudly of the industry it is a part of. When graduates enter the job market, they not only have the confidence and skills they have seen the equipment before. There are few hidden surprises.

Courses

There are five programs offered at the Stockton campus within three fields of study. The fields are allied health, criminal justice and nursing. Within the criminal justice field, students can train for a rewarding career in loss prevention or undercover security with an associate of arts degree in criminal justice. The nursing program offers a diploma in vocational nursing with career possibilities as a home health nurse or blood bank nurse.

The health field offers students programs in dental and medical assisting and also medical office specialist. All three earn graduates diplomas upon completion. At Kaplan College, they do not just look good, they make you and your resume look good to employers. With a diploma or degree from the college, you can enter the workforce with confidence and the skills needed in order to succeed.
