About the college

The Marinello Schools of Beauty have a rich history that started with Ruth Maurer making face cream in 1903, then the school being founded in 1905 and within the last few years, the college’s campus in Burbank was featured on the Ellen DegGeneres Show. Today the schools that were named after the founder of modern cosmetology can be found in five states across the US with a total of 41 campuses. With an unbeatable training and convenient locations, it is easy to see why Marinello is a leader in beauty education.

Campus

In Ontario, California, future beauty advisors and leaders in the industry will find the Marinello School of Beauty campus. The campus has a close location to Rancho Cucamonga, Montclair, and Pomona. Life in California provides students with local attractions, great weather, plenty of outdoor activities and entertainment venues and an unbeatable training experience. At the campus, there is a public salon where students get to perform salon services, like haircuts and skin care procedures, to members of the community with professional supervision.

Courses

At the Marinello School of Beauty, students get to choose from programs in cosmetology, manicuring, and esthetics. Each program has a required of clocked hours that students must achieve in order to graduate. The cosmetology programs have the highest with one course at 1600 hours and the other at 1500. Manicuring takes only 400-clocked hours and the esthetics program has a variety of courses to choose from. Students can take a 1500-hour course in the CIDESCO program, which is the highest certificate program that a student can earn or the licensed esthetician program that only takes 600 hours to complete.
