About the college

Religion and education go together like critical thinking and problem solving do. Both evoke emotion, a desire to succeed and a willingness to search for the answers and research the truth. The Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary got its start in 1955 and its education is deeply rooted in Anabaptist and evangelical traditions. The faculty is devoted to faith and Christian beliefs with many years of experience in their chosen field of teaching.

Campus

The Fresno biblical seminary campus is a small institution with 200 students in total at the school. The classes can be rather small in size with anywhere from 8-30 students in a class. The faculty is Christian and holds a personal relationship with the students. They are called by their name. Diversity in both religion, culture, and the student body is common at the seminary. International students are welcome with applicants from Canada and over seas locations like China, Japan, Brazil, and a few others.

Courses

The degrees offered at the Fresno campus include Master of Arts in theology, intercultural mission, the Old Testament, Christian Ministry and marriage, family and child counseling. Other degrees are master of divinity, a four-year course for a Master of Arts degree in Christian Ministry, diplomas and certificates in various Christian studies and ministry work. The courses are all faith based and can include Christian thought, bible interpretation, pastoral leadership, and others.

All of the programs at the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary teach how to approach life, the future, and your career with faith and values take from Christianity. The programs can lead graduates to life long and fulfilling careers in ministry or careers that are leadership based. Religious education can take your future and turn it into a rewarding way to evoke the word of God onto the community and your career of choice in a positive way.
