About the College
Orange Coast College was founded in 1948 and enrolled 500 students on their first day open. Since the opening day, the college has grown and now has over 25,000 students each semester. Orange Coast College is proud to have over 130 academic and career programs for their students. The school is also proud to have the nautical programs, which are the nation’s largest and most acclaimed programs. Almost 16,000 students from Orange Coast College have transferred to private colleges or universities either in California or in other states. Orange Coast College has the latest in computer technology and high tech equipment. The college gives their students the best to learn with so they have the best learning experience to help them further their career.
Campus
Orange Coast College does not offer on campus housing. Students can rent apartments and houses near the campus while attending the college. The campus offers their students wonderful services and buildings such as an Assessment Center, on campus Bookstore, a Children’s Center, Computing Center, Counseling, Financial Aid, and Special Services for Disabled Students, Student Health, Student Success Center, and Bookstore Book Rental. The campus also has a Soccer Field, Baseball Field, Track and Field, Softball Field, Fitness Complex, Gym, Technology Center, Library, Arts Center, Student Lounge, Starbucks, Cafeteria and so much more. The college wants to give their students only the best.
