About the college

Legal studies and the professions involved are the basis of why Sage College came into existence. The college has a history of over 35 years of training individuals for careers in the business and legal fields. Sage College was formerly known as the California School of Court Reporting-Riverside Inc. While the college has a name change, it still has the dedication and drive to teach future law graduates the skills and expertise needed to impress employers and become a part of the legal system.

Campus

Sage College’s campus is located in Moreno Valley, California. The school has a great location in California with the state’s open arms for various career opportunities in the most in demand industries including the legal field. Moreno Valley offers beauty with a beautiful year round climate and activities both on and off campus.

In the beginning of your Sage educational career the school, offers an easy admissions process with financial aid help. Through your journey, you have a caring and educated faculty dedicated to your success with both academic and career counseling. Upon passing the state exam to become a certified shorthand reporter and a diploma in the paralegal studies program you are offered career placement assistance.

Courses

The college offers future law graduates two programs to choose from. They are court reporting and paralegal studies. Both programs are offered full time with day classes that end at 2 pm and part time classes that are from 6 pm and 10 pm in the evening. The court reporting program can earn students an associate degree or diploma upon completion. In this program, students learn how to type on a stenotype machine with an excess of 200 words. This program does include speed-building skills.

In the paralegal studies program, students gain an understanding of civil and criminal law concepts. With Sage College, you can be an integral part of the criminal system and the courtroom.
