Courses

At the Sacramento campus, students can choose dental programs that include dental assisting and dental hygiene. Dental assistants are taught the basics of the field according to the Dental Board of California. Next up is graduation and a career that involves working in clinics, health departments or dental offices. The other dental program is dental hygiene and students in this program will learn plaque removal, local anesthesia administration and oral health assessments of patients.
