About the college

Wyoming Technical Institute or Wyotech as it is commonly called has been training future graduates in mechanical and technical trade careers. 40 plus years of experience make Wyotech a leader in career education. They lead students into in demand career industries with the skills needed to graduate and secure employment. The school teaches the skills that employers are looking for and in the state of California, the career opportunities are endless. The Wyotech community of schools has 6 campus locations in the US with one goal in mind and that is their student’s success.

Campus

In west Sacramento, California, employers and students alike can find the Wyotech campus. Sacramento is the capital of California and a large city with activities around every corner. Here students can learn quality career skills and still hit the beach or mountains in their downtime. The campus has been opened since 2004 and has 32,500 square feet for their automotive technology department that includes shop and classroom space. Hands on experience with workbenches and industry equipment are found here.

Courses

Just recently, the campus added part time evening classes for its automotive technology and collision refinishing programs. These programs take 12 months to complete and are offered 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday for 5 hours a day. This gives students the opportunity to work, raise children and care for their families while attending classes. Students can take these courses part time or full time and also an electrician program is offered.
