About the college

At San Joaquin Delta College you, as a student, can train for a job, earn skills for a better job or one that pays better or earn a degree that can take you straight into the workforce or let you transfer to a 4 year university of your choice. The campus at San Joaquin went through years of no permanent location and in 1968, the large amounts of students finally had five instructional centers to use for their educational journeys.

Campus

Stockton, California became the permanent location for the San Joaquin campus. The campus is full of beauty both inside and out. Upon entering the campus, students are exposed to koi fish in the courtyard and musician statues throughout the school yard. Inside students have a child care center, auditorium, pool and gym, planetarium and library. The college offers food services at Danner Hall and student activities are offered all across the campus. Students also get internships, a career center, transfer center and employment services.

Courses

At Delta College, there are career and certificate programs, degrees and transfer programs. The college also offers community education courses. The programs are divided into academic divisions that are broken down into specific fields of study. Students can take courses in applied science/technology, athletics, business, English language arts, health sciences, and a few others. Graduates can earn certificates in accounting, carpentry technology, data entry and an A-Z list of other fields.

Associate of arts degrees and associate of science degrees can be earned at the college too. San Joaquin Delta College is a leader in quality education and transfer degrees for its students.
