They have state of the art equipment and always make sure everything from equipment to assignments has the most up to date information. Lake College is the only nationally accredited private college in the city of Redding and Shasta County after being awarded with its accreditation in September of 2003.
About the campus
The school has many common places for the students to relax and talk with the other students. The staff makes sure that someone is always in their offices so the students can get help with anything they need. They also have Open labs so they can practice on their off time to help them get more practice. There will be an instructor on duty at these times for them as well. They want the kids to have a network of supportive relationships because this helps them while in school and long after graduation. They have a strict Student Code of Conduct at Lake College. If the rules are not followed, they could get expelled and later dismissed from the college. They do not have on campus housing or meals but they have lists of available housing and restaurants that have student discounts.
