In September 1972 Mendocino College was founded in California and the doors opened for the first time in July 1973. The college is committed to the success of its students as they search for their perfect career. At Mendocino College the transfer rate to 4 year universities is quite high. Campus

At the Mendocino College campus in Ukiah, California students have the scenic California views and numerous outdoor activities to keep busy. Courses

Courses at the college can be taken in classroom or online with distance education. Associate degrees are also offered with required general education classes. Courses at Mendocino College are divided into departments where students can choose their field of study and then take the classes required to complete the program. Departments offered include, but are not limited to aeronautics, art, astronomy, engineering, geography, health sciences, and speech and welding. The college offers associate degrees and certificates upon completion.
