About the College

The Academy of Barbering Arts offers two distinct courses of study: barbering course and cosmetology course. The school also offers Barber Crossover Course for Cosmetologists as well as an Instructor Trainee Course.

The college is located in a 4,000 square foot building in Northridge California. Inside the facility, students learn through a "learn by doing" method with all the equipment and supplies that one would find at a modern salon or barber shop.

The facility does offer a student lounge for students to have an eating area as well as a rest area. All students are assigned a locker to provide them a spot for their personal items as well as for his or her supplies.

At the end of the courses, the students will be prepared to pass the California Bureau of Barbering/Cosmetology Licensing Exams.
