About the school James Albert is a medium size campus, which is a private, for profit school. It is a choice for many students because it has open admission. It is located in Costa mesa, California, which makes it an attractive choice for the recreation as well. For over 17 years, they have offered a high quality education under the supervision of Mr. James Albert Nasser. The staff provides individual attention to every student. Tours are offered for those interested in attending. You will be shown the whole campus and they will gladly answer any questions you may have.
About the campus
James Albert School does not offer on campus housing or meals. There are several Host Families in the area that you can rent a room from and they provide one of two options, either breakfast or two meals a day. If you choose the two meals a day option then you must be home at those times. Many students find it hard to be home for lunch and supper so they just choose the breakfast option. If you choose this option, no meals will be prepared for you after breakfast. So choose wisely. There are many restaurants in the area that offer discounts to students.
About the courses
James Albert offers courses in Hair Care, Skin Care, makeup, Nail Services, waxing services, and specialty services. The majors taken are cosmetology, aesthetician and skin care, cosmetology instructor, manicurist. The course hours vary from Cosmetology is 1600, Esthetician Course is 600, and makeup is 100. You will have to call the school for more pricing and options on courses. In 2007, they had 117 students that were full time and 98% of the students are female. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
