About the college

For over 90 years Martinez Adult Education has been helping working adults find their career potential through quality education. The mission at the college is to provide career training that can help strengthen individuals as well as the community. At Martinez Adult Education college the working masses can train for a new career or up date current skills. Being able to work while in school gives the college an advantage over others and students the opportunity to attend class, work, tend to children and be an active part in friend and family activities.

Campus

Martinez Adult Education, MAE, is located in the north part of the San Francisco Bay Area in Martinez, California. The college is less than 40 miles from the city of San Francisco. Students have the beauty of California with unbeatable education. At the campus there is “A CREW” program where students apply skills, communicate effectively, recognized lifelong opportunities, exercise critical thinking and work collaboratively and independently in diverse environments. When you attend classes at Martinez you become a part of “ a crew”.

Courses

At MAE there are programs for active seniors, apprentice programs, a business training center, community education classes, English as a Second Language and citizenship courses and health care training. Adults can also take classes in health/safety and home arts, classes to obtain a high school diploma or GED, optical and technology education and parent/family education. At the college adults, both young and old, can take classes that mold their careers or give them an opportunity to pursue activities and hobby related courses.

MAE gives you the skills needed to impress future employers and make your future as bright as it can be. For the community and senior citizens the college has classes that get everyone involved. Education is a lifelong process and you can start today with MAE.
