Santa Barbara City College, SBCC, has a long and rich history that dates all the way back to 1909. At the college, students are offered certificate, 2-year degree programs and transfer opportunities. Costs for the college range from 10,000 dollars when the student lives at home and close to 18,000 dollars when the student chooses to live away from home. Santa Barbara City College offers transportation to and from campus with the Metropolitan Transit District bus, financial aid options and off campus housing.

Students can train in career technical fields, earn degrees and certificates through a variety of programs, and use transfer services after achieving the first 2 years of a baccalaureate degree.
