Taft College was started back in August of 1922 and is located in Taft California. The college holds exactly 8,000 students and has 21 Associate Degree Programs and 22 Certificate Programs. Taft college is dedicated to giving their students diversity, creativity and let them do critical thinking for themselves. Taft College offers teaching excellence from their teachers and also a relationship with their community. Taft College is a place where students can learn and also have a good time while doing it. Taft College offers a wide variety of different student’s activities and athletics that students will have something extra to do all the time.
Campus:
Taft College offers their students on campus housing for students who are enrolled less than 12 semester units. There is a food service plan included which gives you 15 meals a week and the cafeteria serves 19 meals per week. You can apply for student housing on campus before you start at the college. If you prefer living off campus then there are houses and apartments near the campus that students can rent while attending the school. The campus also has a Learning Resource Center, Computer Labs with 144 student computers available, Student Support Services, Student Clubs, Art Gallery, Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball. The campus has many things for students to do and participate in. There is also a bookstore on campus and even online for you to order your books.
