About the College
Hartnell College is one of the oldest colleges in California since it has been around since 1920. The college started out called the Salinas Junior College and then the school was renamed Hartnell College. Hartnell College is dedicated to having a learning environment and creativity for their students. The college not only offers college courses but also offers students to get their high school diploma. This helps gives students the chance to attend college and get them further in life with their career. Hartnell College does not discriminate against anyone. Does not matter the race, sex, age, national origin or ancestry. The college is open to everyone and anyone. The school also offers students sport activities.
Campus
Hartnell College does not offer students on campus housing but they will help you find housing off campus. You can rent apartments or houses near the campus while attending the school. The campus offers students many different campus buildings for learning such as Child Development Center, Classroom and Administration Building, Hartnell College Canter with a cafeteria and dining room, Human Resources and Payroll, Library and Learning Resource Center, Performing Arts Facility, Physical Education, Planetarium, College Pool, Tennis Courts, Football Field, Soccer Field, Baseball Field and Visual Arts Facility. The college also offers financial aid for students to get help paying for college.
Courses
Hartnell College has a wide variety of degrees and courses that their students can take. Administration of Justice, Animal Health Technology, Biology, Child Development, Engineering, English, Fire Control Tech, Nursing, Social Worker, Visual Arts, Water Technology, Behavioral Sciences, Business Management, Computer Science, History, Liberal Arts and Science, Mathematics, Mechanics and Repairs, Real Estate, Electronics and Electric Tech and Public Health Tech. These can come in degrees and certificates or both.
