About the college

William Jessup University, WJU, got its start in 1939. The mission then was to train students for Christian leadership in church ministry, life and the community. Today that mission is still going strong. The students and faculty at William Jessup all honor God, his word and the belief in Christianity. WJU prepares its students for their lives and careers with God behind them the whole way. Graduates from the university can go on to rewarding careers to serve in church, business, government, education, health care and human services all around the world.

Campus

The campus of WJU is located in Rocklin, California. Nestled beneath the Sierra Foothills in Placer County is the beautiful city of Rocklin. It boarders the city of Lincoln and Sacramento, San Francisco and Reno are all a car ride away. Students can enjoy outdoor activities all year long in the city. The campus offers students small class size where your teachers know you by name and they become life long mentors for your spiritual and educational growth. The campus also offers chapel, worship, student government and off campus-housing options.

Courses

William Jessup offers students departments and programs in bible and theory, business administration, Christian Education, English, Foundational Studies, History and Intercultural Studies. Also offered are Music, Pastoral Ministry, Psychology, Public Policy, Teacher Education/Liberal Studies and Youth Ministry. WJU also has a School of Professional Studies that has programs in Christian Leadership, Business Administration, Counseling Psychology and Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Credential Program.

At WJU, they incorporate the word of God and the bible into every student’s education. In the end, you walk out of the university as a graduate with God and the faculty behind you as you walk your career path into the future.
