About the college
Phillips Graduate Institute has over 35 of graduate education and training within the field of human relations. The school offers multiple degrees including master and doctoral accomplishments. Phillips has training that focuses on social issues that push students to find ways to change the world and the local community for the better. Campus The Phillips campus is located in Encino, California near the 101 freeway. The school was formerly known as the California Family Study Center, but has always held true to its core values and quality education for its students. The student body at the campus is predominantly female although there are male students. On campus students have a counseling center for training and community services, a library, student center and an ethical research committee. Courses At the institute students have master and doctoral degree programs, continuing education workshops and postgraduate credential programs for their students to shine in for their career paths. The workshops are designed for professionals in the mental health field that want to further their career skills. Students can earn degrees in marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, organizational consulting, school counseling, school psychology and marriage and family therapy/art therapy with a Master of Arts and postgraduate art therapy degree clinical training program. Electives are also a part of the school’s curriculum. At Phillips psychology, in its various forms, is what the school specializes in. their training is for professionals in the field and those who are just starting with their analyzing future of people and how and why they work.
